Synopsis

 

To mark 50 years of Caversham park Theatre, we give you not one, but TWO classic tales of theatre life, by two great authors.

 

Tom Stoppard's Real Inspector Hound is a play within a play, with Critics drawn into the mayhem.

 

And then the critics create much of the mayhem in Jeffery Hatcher's adaptation of R B Sheridan's classic "The Critic", which we are proud to present for the the first time in the UK.
